Atlantic Records (also known as Atlantic Recording Corporation) is a major American record label mostly known for its recording of jazz, rhythm and blue and hip hop. atlantic records soon gained a reputation as one of the most important american recording labels. they had artist such as Aretha Frankiln and Ray Charles signed. in 1967 atlantic records was bought by Warner Bros seven arts and its now part of the warner music group. it has since expanded into to genres of rock and pop music and now has artists such as; Bruno Mars, Skrillex, Paramore and Clean Bandit signed to there label.
