For this task we were set out to shot what we would associate with different types of music genre, including MES, Editing and Cinematography.
In this still we wanted to create a rock look for the genre. We got the prop of a guitar and dressed the boy in edgy clothing to portray are performer. The downside to what we shot that didn't go with the genre is that we didn't think about the surroundings or location clearly. The plug socket and box has no association as to what is happening.
To improve on what we shot and to portray the rock genre better we edited it. Here you can see that the footage has been cropped to remove the plug from the right and the box the left. The footage has been put in black and white to give it a more edger look.
