Island Records is a major British record label that operates as a division of Universal Music Group. It was founded by Chris Blackwell, Graeme Goodall, and Leslie Kong in Jamaica and has been based in the United Kingdom since 1962. Blackwell sold the label to PolyGram in 1989. Island was the largest independent record labels in history, particularly having exerted a major influence on the progressive UK music scene in the early 1970s.

Atlantic Records also still historically known as Atlantic Recording Corporation is a major American record label best known for its numerous recordings of rhythm and blues, rock and roll, jazz, and hip hop. Over its first 20 years of operation, Atlantic earned a reputation as one of the most important American recording labels, specializing in jazz, R&B and soul recordings by African-American musicians.
They are currently signing artists such as : Bruno Mars, Coldplay, the Rolling Stones, Skrillex, Cher, Ed Sheeran, Paramore, Led Zeppelin, Missy Elliot, Wiz Khalifa, Lil' Kim, Clean Bandit and many more.

Polydor Records is a British record label that operates as part of Universal Music Group.
