Sub genres of drum and bass:

Drum and bass have a number of sub genres, originating from the original sound of drum and bass. These sub genres include dark core,

 This is a high intensity dark core drum and bass track, i think it originates from combining drum and bass with the sounds of heavy metal.

 Another sub genre is drum step; this would be the genre the track we have chosen originated from. An example of a drum step artist would be sigma.

 Another example of drum and bass would be ragga jungle drum and bass; this originates from reggae music but has been combined with synthetic sounds to produce this outcome. However this music is only really used in DJ sets and isn't used in track records. Liquid drum and bass is another sub genre, this is mainly music contrived from more instrumental pieces in the music, and the background, this music is present in the charts, its more of a less emphasized drum and bass rhythm.


 Another sub genre is Brazilian drum and bass otherwise known as sambass, here they tend to use traditional music and country vibes but at the synthesizers on top to create an almost reggae beat.
