Magazine Advert Planning

This is my magazine advert for our album. I made sure the album name, artist name and release date were on it, alongside where you can buy it (the website), what forms the album comes in(CD/Vinyl) and the company logo. 

I used our signature yellow colour, to reflect the bands style, and applied colour splashes to the background and colour slashes to the face to  represent our bands genre of drum and bass. 

I used a bold font, to make the advert stand out among the magazine, and capitalised important information, such as the bands name, the album name, the release date, the name of the featuring single and the forms in which you can buy the album.The colour of the band name would be in our signature 'yellow' style, with other important information being in either black or white, depending on the background colour of black or white, so that the writing contrasts and stands out.
I wrote this magazine advert with formal register, as although drum and bass is dance music, when the audience look at the magazine advert, I want the information to be clear and easy to read and remember.
The magazine cover features the artists face, as I'd like the album to be easily recognizable, and as our music video features the artist, I think the audience will be able to relate the image to the magazine, if they have seen the video.
